28/05/06: Anyhow: You will now find our latest map release here-- Reverend Speed is quite pleased with it, actually - we've finally got the rooms and corridors for the Admin building (B&C) - all four floors - laid out. You can now take a walk outside and check out the front of the building. If you're familiar with the original layout of Danvers I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. You'll also find a variety of new rooms and locations... some of which we've had to make up, most of which have been sourced from maps, photographs and captures from the film Session 9. More details? INDEED.
building C is watertight and ready to rock
Submitted by admin on Thu, 2007-01-25 16:21.Christ, this is taking too long! Right, got the first shell complete - building C is watertight and ready to rock. While the outside of the building is currently inaccessible in HL2, the basic form of Danvers has been recreated... Everything should look pretty familiar at this stage! Allicorn and Quinjet have begun their work on the reception and Wing A hall respectively and it's looking good. Check on the forums to see their lighting, texturing and modelling achievements.
Still no sign of a finished shell
Submitted by admin on Thu, 2007-01-25 16:20.Sunday the 30th of April, 2006 - Here's a few templates and extra textures to tide you over. The cell included in the .zip file is approx. the size we expect to use - Danvers cell sizes rounded off to multiples of eight. It's aligned perpendicular to the corridor in the style of Danvers, unlike the parallel layout seen in the Dark Corners Arkham. Most of the textures were created as part of a learning excercise, but I'm sure we can find a place to use them nonetheless. All textures in the 'revspeed' directory are released for use in non-commercial Lovecraft-related projects.
Arkham old news
Submitted by admin on Thu, 2007-01-25 16:17.The year is 2006. Due to dreadfully unwise experiments in the field of occult menthol mints, the human race has almost been driven to extinction. Now, huddling in the blasted ruins of forgotten cities, hiding from the all-too-mintyfresh children of Yog Sothoth, the dregs of humanity scratch out a pitiful existance. TRUELY THIS IS THE PRICE OF HUBRIS AND MINTS.
