A Screenshot Xmas from HomegrownSubmitted by allicorn on Wed, 2010-12-22 12:22.A very nice Xmas greeting from Homegrown Games in the forum - and it's full of screenshots of Anderson II. Revenge of the TitansSubmitted by allicorn on Sat, 2010-11-13 23:32.Giant alien city-eating monsters from beyond the moon! I guess there's a touch of cosmic horror about Puppygames' Revenge of the Titans but there's a lot of comic sci-fi too. This is a terrific PC game which is a kind of tower-defence-meets-real-time-strategy mash-up. Beautiful retro graphics like all the Puppygames' works and a very surprisingly deep world of gameplay too. The AsylumSubmitted by allicorn on Wed, 2010-07-14 15:32.An interesting new teaser site has sprung up for a game called The Asylum. The lead designer is apparently the same chap that was behind the rather nifty Scratches a couple years back. (Most memorable, I reckon, for it's awesome Cellar Of Rats soundtrack!) There's a fascinating little trailer to look at and some galleries on the site. Apparently the game itself is expected in 2011. Robert D. AndersonSubmitted by allicorn on Tue, 2009-01-20 15:49.Some friendly chaps from Homegrown Games have been dropping by from time to time to keep us updated on their progress on the very exciting-looking new chapter in the Robert D. Anderson series of Lovecraftian games. For a taste of some of the excellent teaser shots available so far, drop by our forum and check out Homegrown's own site (in both German & English) for more info. Dear EstherSubmitted by allicorn on Fri, 2008-09-19 04:06.Quin pointed me to this rather excellent Half-Life 2 mod Dear Esther from the Chineseroom project at Portsmouth Uni. A truly unique gaming experience about exploration and emergent narrative. A clever and fascinating concept, brilliant voice performance and a beautiful soundtrack by Jessica Curry make it a must see IMHO. Anybody out there?Submitted by quinjet on Fri, 2008-09-05 16:24.Tap tap tap. |
